Who would have thought? I went to the hardware store and there I was! A fantastic pic of my dad and I in the dippy. My husband said we look like we are on safari in Muskoka! The photo was taken at the annual Dispro Regatta at hidden valley. We toured for the day Fairy Lake and Mary Lake with about 40 other antique boats!

Article by Allyson Snelling. A short family history and our love of boats. Describing our precious 'Bessy'. A 16' Waterford Disappearing Propeller boat, who has always lived on our lake since 1926. As well, an out line of my Wear Your Heritage Line. One of a kind jewelry made from the antique wood from Muskoka Boat restoration projects.

I fabricated 'Queen's Rose' from the antique ceiling tiles of the queens hotel. The stem was copper from 'knob and tube' wiring. Wreathed with sterling silver leaves and petals of tin. Our challenge was to re-visit the past using historic materials. Have a look at http://www.sixdegreesmuskoka.com/exhibits/
