My trip to the west coast kicked off with meeting my OCAD pal Jenn AKA Judy Black http://judyblack.myshopify.com/
where else? Pearson airport. I then ended up staying at her sisters place, and beautiful palace in the sky. They even had a 'mothtub' designed just for me. After setting up for the show, we ate at one of the best restaurants in Canada, http://www.labattoir.ca/. Please look at thier exquisite website. Definitely one of the most perfect meals I have had (and excellent company of course) Million thanks to Krista and Nind.
Did I mention the Sting concert?
A new lesson in shipping, logistics and a bit of organization. The moth booth was a shining star. I remembered almost everything. My dewalt drill was sadly left at home. I learned a hard lesson, when I assembled my tables by hand. A nice blister in my palm to remind me for next time.
What now?
Today -adding to my line, and getting ready to shoot my 'Look Book' a professional snap shot of moth.
-organizing and choosing my summer shows (may be Edmonton Folk Festival)
-adding to my etsy site
-gearing up for One Of A Kind Spring Show!
-day dreaming of a warm trip somewhere

The Gals in Katie's loved road warrior 'The General'

I really can't believe the days have past so quickly. I have relished every singlone. Days full of sun, creation, swimming and of course shows! MAC brought bonfire hot days, and sales. Mariposa was throbbing with musical talents from Canada and around the world (love the Cuban!). Karen (a kick ass artist) helped me out on the Henna front. And the jewelry was flying. The weather was perfect, with cool dips into Lake Couchiching and excellent food. Thank You Mariposa.
A fun weekend at Hillside as the 'uninvited guest' a last minute cancellation let me in through the VIP gate. Special thanks you to Katie, Dar and the gals for helping me out at the moth booth. Sweltering hot as it was. Moth had heaps of returning clients and of course new buyers to enjoy my work. Fly, Fly, Fly.
Today filling my gallery orders with a bit of rainy day loafing.

Just after I return from Venice, Italy...I am delighted to see in my inbox "Congratulations from OOAK Vancouver!". Moth travels west for a fantastic Christmas show like no other, Dec 8-11. I am excited to give a little hint of some glass inspirations from beautiful Venetian glass works. Rich colour and impeccable style. I savoured every rich moment of my journey to Italy, soaking in visual form, function and fantasy...oh yes, and of course the food!

How good was the OOAK Spring Show? THE BEST!
Moth Jewelry is on official OOAK addict. So many fantastic creative people and products in one place! Thank you to all my interesting visitors loving MOTH JEWELRY. You made my presence known! Below is an e-mail from a buyer who couldn't access my booth!

"Hi I was at the one of a kind craft show and your booth was over crowded with people that I couldn't get a chance to get near. I did happen to grab your card to see if I would be able to get your product online or even in a store near toronto? Because it so happens that your bracelet that was an orangey colour with cute little leafs on it caught my eye. I  was upset with myself after that I forgot to go back to your booth and now I'm sitting at home wishing that I just pushed my way through and bought your product because it was unique and beautiful. If you could tell me if you are going to be at another event or if I could purchase some other way that would be great. "

Moth Shop will be open APRIL 10, with all my fab waxed linen bracelets and necklaces.
I look forward to seeing you all again. Please visit me at one of my summer events listed HERE. See you under the shining sun!

Cheese Boutique Toronto! Well worth the visit! If you love great food and an exciting atmosphere you will dig this fantastic feast for the eyes and taste buds. Explore dark caves of massive ancient cheese wheels to lush mountains of green olives. Pick up a special desert or empty your wallet for a high end olive oil to show off at your next Italian get together!

These bracelets pics are for my friend Sara. Let me know which ones you like! I put the smaller sizes in the left row of the photo, and the med/large on the right. The top adjustable ones are $20. As well I included a beauty blue turquoise bracelet with a fab stone! It's $58 (a little pricey, but the stone is A1) The mens braided has a sterling clasp and is $40.

Oh so happy! I worked to hard to get into this show! Now I will have to work even harder to create all my great jewelry I'm going to sell. My hands will be very busy for sure....
My line design is going well for the 2011 season. I know I have to focus more on colour and set styles, and keep a good flow, so my clients will always be able to have lots of choices and the right sizes...tricky!
Luck for me my best friend is a commercial photographer

Went to the Tree Museum on Doe Lake Road with mom. A great walk in the trees. It was a couple of hours and a pretty good day for weather. If you expecting to see some kind of structure i.e.: the museum, you're in it! Just enjoy the walk and explore the artist outdoor installations. Strongly recommend 'the lodge' make sure you go up the hill!!! Bring your dog, they will love it!
