My name is Leslie, and Moth Jewelry is my passion.  My work embodies thought, spirit, design, comfort and style. It has a simple conceptual base. 'Link, mend or weave together what has been lost in modern society. Re-think our human connection to our natural Taonga (Maori word for treasure).'

Waxed linen thread will be found in many of my pieces. It's strong, comfortable and colourful. As a medium, it is versatile to work with. Also very light to wear, more like a garment than jewelry.

New this year for 2010, I have incorperated fantastic handmade silver beads into my waxed linen work. I frame each bead with traditional knotwork, tiny weaves and complex braiding.

This bracelet has a sterling silver, handmade, leaf bead with a sprinkle up the side. Finished with a clear glass droplet.

Deep sea blues frame a hammered handmade sterling bead. Also finished with a waterlike droplet bead!

Black Waxed linen strands with a puffed silver dollar bead! Super cool and durable for all your summer activities!

Wear Your Heritage!!!

My continued line incorperates wood from antique boat restoration projects. Be a part of local history, and have a story behind your adornment.
